Simona Hejdová

Attorney at Law, Patent Attorney, European Trade Marks and Designs Attorney

Simona Hejdová was born in Třebíč, Czech Republic in 1976. She graduated from the Masaryk University in Brno, Faculty of Law. In 2002, she finished her study at Training Institute of the Industrial Property Office in Prague. During her studies, she gained experience by working in a law office. Between 2000-2003, she worked for the Industrial Property Office in Prague, Department of Trade Marks (national and international proceedings). She did several internships in the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante, Spain, inter alia, six-month internship in Opposition Division of EUIPO.

Simona Hejdová practised as a patent attorney from 2003. She passed the bar exam in 2006 and since 2007, she has been providing legal services as an attorney at law. She is entitled to represent before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Simona Hejdová was a member of Managing Board of Licensing Executives Society Česká Republika (LES ČR) and is member of European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA).

Simona Hejdová is an author of several professional articles in the field of industrial property.
